Class 1 Driver in Grantham

Looking for Class 1 work with no handballing and an immediate start? Our client is a family‑run logistics business with over 60 years of experience, delivering trusted transport solutions for some of the UK’s best‑known brands. They’re now looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team.

You’ll be working on the general haulage side of the business, delivering a variety of goods to customers throughout the whole of the UK, simply opening the curtain at each stop while customers unload the vehicle, no handballing or manual unloading required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring accurate paperwork
• Following company procedures throughout your shift

Duration: This is an ongoing position with temp to perm opportunities also available.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £15.00 per hour through PAYE or £20.00 per hour if paid via our umbrella provider. Nights out paid at £30.00 per night, TAX FREE.

Working Hours: This is a Monday to Friday role, with a typical start time of 07:00, 3 nights out each week with tramping also available.

Experience & Qualifications: To apply for this role you must have the following:

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• Full UK CPC
• Valid digital tacho card
• No more than 6 points

To be considered for this role you must have held your licence for a minimum of 1 year with at least 180 days commercial driving experience.
