Job Description:
- Ensure all delivery paperwork and documentation is accurately completed.
- Unload cages at each delivery point (manual handling required).
- Return all completed documentation to the transport desk at the end of each shift.
- Operate vehicles safely, professionally, and in compliance with drivers’ hours and road transport legislation.
Pay & Working Hours:
- Hourly Rate: Week Nights £20.50 per hour
- Saturday Night £30.75 per hour
- Sunday Night £41.00 per hour
Paid via our FCSA approved payroll provider.
Working Hours:
- Starting between 20:00 and 22:00; shift lengths planned between 9 and 12 hours per run.
- Guaranteed 5 shifts per week on a Wednesday to Sunday pattern.
- Alternative shift patterns may be available; however, these may not always provide 5 shifts per week.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Minimum of 6 months’ Class 1 driving experience.
- No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently during night operations.
