Fantastic opportunity for HGV Class 2 Drivers in Dinnington, South Yorkshire. Join a well-established transport business and founding member of the Pallet Track network, providing reliable pallet distribution services across the UK. With a modern fleet, a strong industry reputation, and decades of logistics expertise, our client is looking to recruit professional HGV Class 2 Drivers to support their busy operation.
Duties will include delivery of palletised goods to customers throughout the South Yorkshire area averaging between 8 and 12 drops per shift. Drivers will be required to either open a curtain and wait to be unloaded or offload pallets using a tail lift and electric pump truck.
Drivers will be required to carry out vehicle safety checks before each shift, ensure compliance with all transport regulations, and complete all relevant paperwork accurately in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
Duration: Benefit from full-time, ongoing employment with consistent night shifts, regular weekly hours, and long-term job stability. For the right drivers, there are also genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position with this well-established and growing transport business.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £18.00 per hour.
Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times being around 0800 each day.
Experience & Qualifications: To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A valid HGV Class 2 (C) Driving Licence
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A full Driver CPC qualification
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence

While previous experience within the transport and logistics industry would be advantageous, full support and training will be provided to help successful candidates settle into the role and develop their skills.
