You will be working for a well-established transport company and founding member of the Pallet Track Network, delivering efficient pallet distribution services nationwide. The business operates a reliable fleet handling both full and part loads, offering a range of overnight and economy delivery solutions across the UK.

As a Class 1 Driver, your role will involve day work, including trunking to RDCs and NDCs nationwide as part of a busy pallet network operation. You will also be required to complete palletised deliveries and collections in line with network distribution requirements, alongside supporting any additional duties required to meet the needs of the business. No handball is involved. All drivers are expected to carry out vehicle checks before each shift and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately in line with company procedures.

Duration: This is a full-time, ongoing position with the opportunity to secure a permanent role for the right candidate.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is set at £18.00 per hour.

Working Hours: Working Monday to Friday, with start times around 0700.

Experience & Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

  • A valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
  • A Digital Tachograph card in your possession
  • An up-to-date CPC qualification
  • A clean driving record with no more than 6 points
