Early starts and early finishes for experienced van drivers! Weekly pay and immediate starts! You will be delivering goods across the UK with early starts but early finishes perfect for enjoying sunny afternoons after work!
You will be expected to deliver goods in a timely manner – this is not a multidrop position however, you can expect between 4-8 drops per shift. The distance travelled is the reason for the early starts.
You should be comfortable with handling heavy goods although you will be provided with full equipment. If the thought of getting home for an afternoon of sun after delivering from all over the UK sounds good, then apply now!
Duration: Whilst this is a temporary position but there is an ongoing opportunity for the right candidate.
Contract Type: Temporary.
Hourly Rate: You will be paid £13.50 per hour. You accrue holiday up to 28 days pro rata. We do not offer Visa sponsorships.
Working Hours: Start times will be between 4am and 7am. Shifts are 10-12 hours roughly. We have shifts available Monday to Friday and occasionally on Saturdays, the Saturdays are completely optional though and only if you want the overtime.
Experience & Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you will need:
- To drive a car or motorcycle – this is because of the client’s location.
- A minimum of 1 year’s commercial van driving experience.
- No more than 3 points on your driving licence.
- A positive attitude and to be happy to work either solo or as part of a double manned team (depending on the nature of the goods being delivered).
