We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business based in Heckington for a Counterbalance FLT Driver / Production Operative to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.

- Role
- 20% Counterbalance FLT duties
- 80% Production line and warehouse duties
- Daily responsibilities include
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse.
- Bulking off nuts into 1‑tonne bulk bags and 25kg sacks.
- Supporting the production line with general manufacturing duties.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality and food safety.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
Compensation and Hours
- Hourly Rate: £12.99 per hour
- £16.23 per hour after 48 hours
- Up to £800+ per week
- 28 days annual leave pro‑rata
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday
- Up to 12 hour shifts
- 48‑60 hours a week depending on demand
Experience & Qualifications
- Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (In house not accepted)
- Be reliable, committed and looking for long‑term employment.
- Be physically fit due to the manual handling involved.
- Be comfortable working within a fast‑paced food production environment.
- Have excellent attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Have no allergies to peanuts or tree nuts.
