Overview
Please note that this position is open to UK applicants only
We have an opportunity to work with one of the UK’s largest waste management operations.
Based in the Sheffield area, you will be working in small crews, taking responsibility for your own route.
It will be your duty to ensure that you are vigilant and being mindful of your surroundings when controlling the vehicle.
You will also be required to check the on-board computer, monitoring the load so it does not exceed the weight limit.
In some circumstances you may be required to assist the loading team at the rear of the vehicle.

Duration: This is an ongoing position offering regular full time hours.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Working Hours: This role is Monday to Friday work, with shifts starting at 06:30. Approximately 8 to 10 hours each shift

Remuneration & Benefits
Hourly Rate: The pay rate for this role is £15.61 per hour, with time and a half paid after 8 hours per day. Any work on weekends or bank holiday is paid at double time.You will also accrue holidays, up to 28 per year pro rata.

Experience & Qualifications
You will need to meet the below criteria to apply for this role.
- A valid UK driving licence with C entitlement.
- A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- A valid CPC.
- No more than 6 points on licence
- No DD or DR driving convictions
You must be willing to work as part of a busy team and be a good representative for the company.
