Job Description: STORE DELIVERIES – HGV CLASS 2 – IMMEDIATE START. Your main responsibility will be to support our client with 4-8 store deliveries across the country. During the deliveries, you will be responsible for delivering caged goods and tail lifting cages at each stop.
Location: Burton on Trent, Staffordshire
Duration: This role offers work with an immediate start. Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: Your hourly rate will be £15.05 hour. In addition to your hourly rate we also pay 28 days paid leave (Pro Rata).
Working Hours: This role offers work between the days of Monday and Sunday. Start times are around 03:00. You must be flexible of days/times that you work. Rest days will be required to work around operational needs due to this weekend flexibility being crucial. Your shift will start around 03:00 for the duration of 8 to 10 hours.
Experience & Qualifications: Applicants for this role are required to have:
- At least one year of experience on the road in a HGV
- A full HGV 2 licence, in date CPC and digi tacho
- A proven track record of a positive, punctual and hard working attitude towards work
- Experience to use a tail lift, roll cages on and off a truck at each stop
