We are currently seeking Machine / Line Lead Operatives to join a well-established pet food production facility based in Old Leake near Boston. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced food production environment, where you will play a key part in supporting the smooth running of production lines and machinery. The role involves machine operation responsibilities and leading elements of the production line, making it ideal for candidates with previous production or machine experience.
Key Responsibilities- Operating and monitoring production machinery.
- Supporting the smooth running of production lines.
- Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
- Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting issues.
- Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards.
- Working collaboratively with team members on the line.
Hourly Rate: Starting Wage £14.60 p/h Averaging £676.80 per week. £17 p/h via umbrella (£714 per week) Overtime paid at time and a quarter. Weekly Pay 28 days annual leave pro-rata.
Working Hours: This role operates on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern, including days and nights:
- Days: 07:00 – 19:00
- Nights: 19:00 – 07:00
Experience & Qualifications Requirements:
- Previous food production or manufacturing experience.
- Experience with machine operation or working on production lines.
- Good spoken and written English for communication and paperwork.
- Reliable transport is essential due to the rural location of the site.
