We are excited to be expanding our team of refuse loaders locally in the area. This is a hands-on job role where you will be the face of the bin collections in the local area. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hard-working and great team players. You will be professional when out on the rounds and be polite with members of the public.
You will be working outdoors, come rain or shine and walking throughout your whole shift therefore you must have a good level of fitness in this physical role. You will go out on the bin lorry, to set areas where you will load waste, recycling and garden waste bins onto the truck to be emptied.
- Duration: Apply today for an immediate start following a successful induction.
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Hourly Rate: You will be paid from £12.65 per hour. Bank Holidays are paid at double time, £25.30 per hour. Holiday is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.
- Working Hours: Shifts are available throughout the working week, Monday to Friday with start times from 06:30. You will usually be finished no later than 14:30, but even if you have an earlier finish, you will be paid a minimum of 7 hours per day.
Experience & Qualifications: You will have previous experience of working outdoors. This is a physical role where you are walking in safety boots, no matter what the weather. Due to location and start times you must live within walking distance or have your own transport.
