We are currently seeking food production operatives to work for our client based in Barton Under Needwood. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing company within the food production industry.
The role will involve cutting, cleaning, finishing, and packing herbs used in cooking, ensuring all products meet quality and hygiene standards. Candidates must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods throughout the day, as well as working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Location: Barton Under Needwood, Staffordshire
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: The hourly rate for this role is £12.71, increasing to £12.94 after 12 weeks of continuous employment. Holiday will be accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.
Working Hours: This is a Monday to Friday position, with working hours from 08:00 to 16:30, offering a good work-life balance.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Own transport (due to shift times and location)
- Previous experience within a food production warehouse
- A good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- You will be hardworking, punctual, and reliable, with a positive and flexible attitude towards work.
- You must be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
