We’re looking for reliable and customer-focused 7.5 tonne drivers to join a dynamic logistics team supporting a major UK retailer. Based in Scunthorpe, you’ll be responsible for delivering goods directly to customers, ensuring timely and professional service at every step.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver products to residential addresses
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
  • Load and unload goods with care and accuracy
  • Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
  • Work collaboratively with a driver’s mate to ensure smooth operations

Hours & Pay

Hourly Rate: £14.79 p/h basic wage; £22.19 p/h overtime rate on all hours after 8 hours.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 07:00 start time averaging 8 hour shifts

Closing Date: 20250904

Experience & Qualifications

  • Valid C1 driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
