Looking for a reliable weekday role with consistent hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position? We’re currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join a busy warehouse operation handling furniture products.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants a regular Monday-to-Friday schedule, with no standard weekend shifts.
You’ll be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to move and transport furniture products safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading deliveries, moving stock to designated areas and helping ensure goods are handled carefully.
You’ll also be expected to carry out routine forklift checks, report any faults or safety concerns and maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment. Alongside your forklift duties, you may be required to assist with general warehouse tasks and support other team members when needed.
Duration: This is an ongoing, full-time temporary position, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: The position pays £13.75 per hour, with the opportunity to accrue up to 28 days of annual leave per year. You’ll benefit from consistent weekday hours, no standard weekend shifts and the potential to move into permanent employment. If you have the relevant Counterbalance FLT experience and are available to start, please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Working Hours: The role runs Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 16:00. These consistent daytime hours offer a regular working routine, with no standard weekend work.

Experience & Qualifications
Applicants must hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and have previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift. Experience with a Flexi FLT would be an advantage but is not essential.
You’ll need a reliable and safety-conscious approach, good attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. If you live outside the local area, a full UK driving licence and your own transport will be essential.
