Job Description
Part-Time Transport Admin Wanted in Chesterfield.
Our client has more than sixty years of plastic manufacturing experience, servicing a diverse range of industries, their success has been built on a unique combination of great people, great products and a desire to go further on behalf of their customers around the world.
They are now looking to recruit a part-time Transport Administrator to join their dedicated transport team based in Staveley, Chesterfield.
Duties will include;
- Control and monitor all delivery and collection paperwork
- Deal with any queries from drivers over the phone
- Report any pick or paperwork inaccuracies to Operations
- Ensure all failed deliveries, or delivery issues are reported to the relevant areas
- Complete customer bookings for planned orders daily
- Enter Purchase Orders onto D365 for work completed for the Transport Department
- Assist other staff members within the team to ensure all roles are completed as required daily.

- To undertake any other work as can be reasonably expected.
Duration: This is a temporary assignment to cover maternity leave which will run through to March/April 2027
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £13.50 per hour PAYEYou will also accrue 28 days holiday per year pro-rata
Working Hours: Working hours are Thursdays and Fridays 0830-1700

Experience & Qualifications
To be considered for this role you must have the following.
- Previous experience with a Transport Admin role preferred but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Excell
- Good customer service skills
- Problem solving
- Be a team player as well as be able to work on your own
