Looking for a hands‑on role that keeps you active and makes a real difference in your community? We’re recruiting Waste Collection Operatives to join our dedicated team in the Caenby Corner area, supporting services across Gainsborough.
About the Role:
As part of our operations team, you’ll play a vital role in keeping local communities clean and safe by collecting household waste. This is a physically demanding, outdoor role that involves:
- Reporting to the main depot in Caenby Corner
- Manual handling and loading of waste materials
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Walking long distances throughout your shift
- Working closely with colleagues to complete daily collection rounds
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and contributing to an essential public service.
Hourly Rate: You will have a starting wage of £13.28 per hour.Overtime on all hours after 37 hours paid at time and a half.You will accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.Please note we do not offer sponsorship.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday4 day working week0700 start timeaveraging 9.75 hour shiftsSaturdays required on the week leading up to bank holiday.
