You’ll be responsible for implementing real change in the international higher education landscape. You’ll take on meaningful challenges that see a positive impact across the business and the wider sector.
This is what you’ll be doing:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic university partnerships in the UK to achieve yearly revenue targets across the QS portfolio.
- Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with university stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on institutional strategy, rankings, and internationalisation.
- Lead consultative sales processes, identifying opportunities to introduce QS products, solutions, and insights that drive partner success.
- Contribute to the UK strategy by leveraging internal teams and data, ensuring QS continues to provide relevant, market-leading solutions.
- Represent QS at industry events, presenting to large audiences and effectively storytelling using data.
- Deliver scalable, regular communications to clients, including webinars, thought leadership seminars, and bespoke presentations.
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure an integrated approach to client success.
- Embrace and demonstrate QS’s values in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Any other duties that fall within the purpose and scope of the role.
Key skills and experience:
- Strong knowledge of the international university student recruitment landscape.
- In-depth understanding of institutional performance, reputation management, and higher education strategies.
- Extensive HE networks across the UK, spanning academic, recruitment, and internationalisation teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach to sales and client engagement.
- Track record of consultative sales success and achievement against revenue targets.
- Strong experience in sales management practices, including pipeline management, opportunity forecasting, territory and account planning, and multi-channel client communication.
- Ability to interpret and present complex data and insights to senior HE stakeholders.
- Excellent organisation and independent working skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
- Educated to degree level, with a Master’s desirable.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
- High proficiency in MS 365 and understanding of AI tools to drive efficiency.
