Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contracts Manager to lead contract review, ensuring optimal commercial terms ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, whilst maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. This role focuses primarily on customer agreements, requiring exceptional commercial awareness, and the ability to balance risk management with business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Review & Risk Management
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of contracts, NDA’s, terms and conditions, and amendments
- Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks including liability, indemnification, and performance obligations
- Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and GDPR obligations
- Escalate high-risk or complex contractual issues to senior management and legal counsel
Relationship Support
- Work closely with account managers and sales teams to facilitate smooth contract processes
- Provide commercial guidance during discussions and contract negotiations
- Address queries regarding contractual terms and obligations
- Support contract renewals and amendments to maintain long-term customer relationships
Documentation & Process Management
- Maintain accurate records of all contract negotiations and final agreements
- Develop and update contract templates and negotiation playbooks
- Create contract summaries and risk assessments for internal stakeholders
- Ensure timely contract execution and proper filing of all documentation

Essential Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor\’s degree in Law, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years\’ experience in commercial contract negotiations, preferably customer-facing
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations with measurable commercial outcomes
- Strong understanding of commercial law, contract principles, and customer relationship management
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer interactions
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of pricing structures and business models
- Ability to interpret complex legal terms and explain them in business language
- Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office suite
