We are seeking a skilled frontend developer with 4-5 years of experience in and React to join our innovative biomedical startup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building responsive, user-friendly web applications and a passion for creating cutting-edge user interfaces for healthcare software. Selected applicants will be asked to perform a short take-home test task, and submit a 30 second video introducing yourself this is the main criteria we will be using for our interview process before the final meeting.

QOVES is a biomedical startup focused on improving patient experiences in cosmetic medical clinics through software. We develop AI-powered applications that predict post-surgery appearances and assist in diagnosing the necessity of cosmetic procedures. Our goal is to transform cosmetic surgery consultations into a well-defined, clinical process of diagnosis and visualization through our software integrations with clinics.

Your Role

As a Frontend Developer at QOVES, you will be responsible for:

Developing and maintaining our web applications using and React

Collaborating with our AI and backend teams to integrate complex functionalities into user-friendly interfaces

Implementing responsive designs that work across various devices and screen sizes

Optimizing application performance for maximum speed and scalability

Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code

Participating in code reviews and contributing to our frontend architecture decisions

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of professional experience in frontend development

Strong proficiency in and React

Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Recoil)

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL

Version control with Git

Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to address them

Bachelor\’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a startup environment

Knowledge of TypeScript

Familiarity with UI/UX design principles

Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library

Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits

Experience with CI/CD pipelines
