We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to own the full electronics scope of the QOVES physical product range. Based at The Library in London, you will take products from schematic through to production-ready design, covering component selection, BOM management, validation, and certification. A background in biomedical electronics or consumer hardware in the cosmetics and aesthetics space is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- ~3+ years of hands-on PCB design experience for consumer or regulated electronics products.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power management, and signal integrity.
- Proven experience taking a hardware product from prototype through to certified, volume manufacture.
- Working knowledge of electronics safety and EMC certification processes for consumer products (CE, UKCA, RoHS, FCC, and equivalents).
- Able to work independently and make sound technical decisions with limited supervision.
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with mechanical engineers, firmware developers, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with consumer electronic hardware in the cosmetics, aesthetics, or beauty space, such as at-home beauty devices for skin improvement.
- Familiarity with IEC 60601 or equivalent electrical safety standards.
- Experience managing electronics contract manufacturers, particularly in Asia-Pacific.
- Exposure to DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reviews and electronics assembly optimization.
Foundational role in defining the electronics architecture of an entirely new QOVES product vertical. Direct collaboration with the Industrial Engineer, product, and creative teams. High ownership over hardware direction and engineering decisions. Fast-paced environment where products move from concept to production without unnecessary process overhead.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience. Full-time, onsite at The Library in London, 5 days a week.
