We’re looking for a confident, proactive Business Development Administrator to keep our sales engine running smoothly. You’ll be the main connector between inbound and outbound activity, managing our CRM, nurturing leads, and making sure no opportunity slips through the cracks. You’ll also play a key role in supporting the Managing Director with outreach efforts, especially on LinkedIn and via Direct Cold Calls. This is a full-time role (Mon-Fri) based in the office in Kettering with an expectation of 3 days in the office. Part-time considered at a pro-rata rate.
Key Responsibilities
- CRM Ownership: Maintain and update our Pipedrive CRM, making sure every lead, contact and deal is tracked and followed up.
- Apollo Data Management: Using Apollo.io for data-mining to identify target contacts for sales activity.
- Phone Line Management: Answer inbound calls that come through to the sales line and handle them initially, or route them appropriately.
- Outbound Sales Calls: Make initial and follow-up calls to prospective clients, book discovery meetings for MD & Marketing Ops Director to handle, and re-engage cold leads.
- Lead Management: Help identify and nurture sales prospects in line with our Ideal Client Profile.
- LinkedIn Support: Assist the MD with outreach and follow-up messaging to high-value prospects on LinkedIn.
- Sales Coordination: Support the sales process end-to-end, ensuring the MD, Marketing Ops Director and wider team have all the information they need to close deals.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and delivery teams to ensure alignment on prospects, outbound campaigns, and client fit.
- Proposal Assistance: Work with the wider team to prepare sales proposals, and develop our overall sales proposal output.
About You
- You’ve experience in a sales role.
- You’re naturally organised, confident on the phone, and enjoy speaking to people.
- You’re proactive and you don’t wait to be asked, you see what needs doing and get on with it.
- You’re tech-savvy, with experience in CRM tools (Pipedrive experience is a plus).
- You’re able to keep things structured, even when there’s a lot going on.
- You’re comfortable working in an agency environment.
- You care about getting things right and want to work somewhere that values improvement and impact.
