Role Overview:
As a FinOps Analyst you\’ll work closely alongside the FinOps Consultants in the team to ensure our customers have a thorough understanding of their cloud spend, and help to identify and define opportunities to derive the most value from their cloud consumption investment.
What you\’ll do:
- Work with customers to understand their cloud consumption and identify opportunities for optimization
- Develop and deliver cloud spend reports to customers
- Build and improve cloud spend reporting tools and processes
- Support the FinOps and Managed Services team, as well as the rest of the business with insights on cloud spend analysis and optimization
- Support the invoicing process by verifying cloud spend data and helping maintain automated processes
- Support the FinOps team on customer projects by providing cloud spend analysis reports and optimisation insights
- Help sales by providing cloud spend forecasts and optimization opportunities as part of Cloud Commitment contracting
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud pricing and consumption trends
What you\’ll bring:
- Experience in cloud spend analysis or FinOps
- Experience in a data analyst or data engineer role
- Good understanding of cloud services and their pricing and consumption models (GCP – must have, AWS – nice to have, Azure – nice to have)
- Excellent data analysis skills and experience with Google BigQuery
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously

The plan for this role specifically is to grow into a FinOps Consultant over a period of 1-2 years.
Location
This role will be hybrid-based. We have offices in London, Swindon, Manchester and Edinburgh. The role can be based from any of those areas with regular (2-3 days weekly) travel to the office location you live nearest to. There would be travel to other offices from time to time for specific meetings and team events.
