We have an exciting additional opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse within QME Care based in Murray House, dementia unit or Evanthea House, complex care setting in Kelso, Scottish Borders.

As we continue to develop our unique caring model we are looking for a dedicated registered nurse to join our growing team.

Evanthea House provides a homely yet unique setting for people aged 18+ with complex physical and emotional needs.

Murray House is a purpose built dementia unit for adults over 50 yrs old with a diagnosis of dementia.

We are looking for an experienced RMN, or a RGN with experience of working in mental health services.

We are a value driven, not for profit charity dedicated to non institutional ways of enabling and supporting our residents to live their lives to the full in a residential nursing setting.

A genuine passion for working with older people, dementia, cognitive condition and high quality nursing care are essential for this compassionate role.

As the registered nurse it is essential that you demonstrate strong ethical leadership skills to lead by example within your team and ensure at all times the care of our residents is paramount.

We follow a person centred approach to support our residents to be the director of their care. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, hard working and a team player.

Active NMC PIN is essential – RMN (RGN would be acceptable with mental health experience)

This role will involve a mix of days and nights.

All our roles work a flexible rota system over a 7 day a week period.

Full eligibility to work in the UK must be provided, no sponsorship available for this position.
