QLM is supporting a major European Co-operative with a broad portfolio of investments across the food value chain, as they look to appoint a Head of Farming Partnerships - Pork. This is a newly created role, designed to strengthen how the business works across its pork supply network, bringing closer alignment between farms, processors and internal teams.
The Opportunity
Sitting between agriculture and processing, you’ll play a key role in shaping how the supply base is managed and developed. The focus is on building long-term partnerships, improving collaboration and ensuring that what’s happening on farm translates into consistent supply, factory performance and customer delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and managing relationships with farmers, producer groups and supply partners
- Acting as the link between on-farm activity and processing operations
- Supporting the development of supply frameworks, including pricing, agreements and performance expectations
- Driving improvements in supply consistency, quality and welfare standards
- Working closely with operations and supply chain teams to align livestock availability with production plans
- Improving communication and coordination across the supply chain to reduce disruption and variability
- Contributing to the wider agricultural and supply strategy as the business continues to grow
What We’re Looking For
- Experience within the pork sector, across agriculture, supply chain or commercial roles
- Strong understanding of how farming and processing environments connect
- Established relationships within farming networks would be advantageous
