Serving over 40,000 global customers, our portfolio leverages pervasive data quality and advanced AI/ML capabilities that lead to better decisions, faster.
As part of our global Legal department, you will join Qlik’s Global Privacy Team, working at the forefront of privacy, information security, and AI regulation. This role is key to ensuring Qlik’s compliance across a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape while enabling the business to move quickly and responsibly in its go-to-market strategy.
You’ll play a hands-on role in managing and evolving our privacy program, partnering closely with teams across the business and helping navigate complex challenges related to SaaS, data use, and emerging technologies like AI. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge legal issues at the intersection of privacy, AI, and technology within a fast-moving, global organisation.
You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of challenges, from supplier negotiations to regulatory change, while working closely with a collaborative and experienced team. You’ll be joining a small, high-impact privacy team where your contributions will be visible and meaningful from day one. The role offers strong development potential, including support for industry-recognised certifications and the chance to expand into international privacy, AI, and information security law.
This role will challenge you to think pragmatically—balancing legal risk with business needs—and to proactively identify and solve problems in a constantly evolving environment.
Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
- You will play a central role in maintaining and evolving Qlik’s global privacy program—ensuring it remains effective, scalable, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
- From managing core program assets such as policies and records of processing to acting as a key point of contact for privacy queries, your work will help embed privacy into everyday business operations.
- You’ll partner closely with teams across the business to conduct privacy impact assessments and provide practical, actionable advice - particularly in relation to supplier SaaS solutions, data access, and retention practices.
- You’ll also take ownership of supplier privacy reviews and support the negotiation of data processing agreements, directly influencing how Qlik manages third-party risk.
- A key part of your role will involve staying ahead of regulatory developments across privacy, AI, and information security.
- You’ll help translate new legal requirements into real-world solutions by conducting gap analyses, identifying risk areas, and driving implementation of necessary changes across the organisation.
- You’ll also contribute to important operational and compliance activities, including privacy audits, data subject requests, breach response, and collaboration with Information Security on investigations.
- Your work will have a direct impact on strengthening Qlik’s compliance posture and enabling responsible innovation across the business.

- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- A pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to legal challenges
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risk
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative, team-oriented attitude
- An interest in developing expertise across international privacy, AI, and information security laws
