Your responsibilities:
- Generate sales proposals in line with requests for quotation. This process may involve liaison with the sales contact, the customer, the Test Centre Manager and the Proposals Manager, to produce a compliant technical response.
- Interface with external suppliers to receive supporting OEM quotes.
- Day to day involvement with the Proposals Team.
- Co-operation with the planning and scheduling of the Proposals Team to meet enquiry and support request deadlines.
- Liaison and interaction with the EMEA Food Team colleagues based throughout Europe.
- Participation in the Food Team and overall EMEA sales meetings.
- On-going education, training and development in application and product knowledge.
- Familiarisation with current industry legislation.
- Use of in-house sales tools required to prepare quotations.
- Participation in Sales/Engineering contract handover.
- Participation in Test activities as required.
- Participation in site visits as required.
Your qualifications:
Given the broad nature of the role, the candidate should have a good knowledge of general material handling and process equipment, ideally from within the Food sector. Additionally, it will be required to show a good understanding of material handling legislation (ATEX requirements and general Food industry compliance).
