HSEQ Manager
Location: Brigg, Lincolnshire
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:15am – 5:00pm & Friday, 8:15am – 1:00pm
Holidays: 25 days per year plus paid bank holidays

About the Role

We\’re looking for an experienced and confident HSEQ Manager to promote and support a positive culture of health, safety, environment, and quality across the business. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment where you\’ll lead investigations, drive improvements, and ensure full compliance across all HSEQ activities.

You’ll be a proactive leader with strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a genuine passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage quality investigations (8D or similar)
  • Apply root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and DMAIC
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Communicate with customers regarding quality issues and attend site visits when required
  • Maintain and analyse quality records to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Produce and review Risk Assessments and Safe Working Practices (SWPs)
  • Conduct COSHH assessments and manage compliance with Environmental Permit conditions
  • Carry out accident and near‑miss investigations and oversee fire safety management
  • Facilitate HSEQ meetings and audits
  • Maintain and update training materials, procedures, policies, and the training matrix

Skills & Experience

  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and hands‑on approach
  • Strong background in manufacturing, ideally in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proven use of root cause investigation techniques such as 8D, 5 Why, and DMAIC
  • NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels
  • Confident IT user (Word, Excel, Email)
  • Experience leading HSEQ meetings and presenting data effectively
