We want to recruit a talented coordinator to undertake promotion, media coordination, and the production of publicity and marketing materials for Qisetna and its programs.

Qisetna serves a wide audience of people interested in the arts, cultural and heritage. We offer people who are displaced a connection with their heritage and become active participants in the cultural community of the countries where they are settling, and to engage general audiences with the richness and diversity of traditional and contemporary arts from Syria. With the expertise of marketing and communication you will help Qisetna in the delivery of arts presentations, education, and civic engagement programming to expand the knowledge of the general public about communities at risk.

This role is responsible for mainly editing, color grading, and refining digital content for multi-purpose use (web and online channels), ensuring consistency with brand voice, visual style, and project objectives. Day‑to‑day tasks include reviewing and editing written and multimedia content, optimizing material for online platforms, and coordinating with producers and filmmakers to maintain narrative and visual coherence. The Online Content Editor will manage content workflows, maintain content calendars, and ensure timely delivery of assets for campaigns and releases. The role also involves basic quality assurance, alignment with SEO and platform best practices, and contributing creative ideas to enhance audience engagement. This is a great opportunity for someone with high‑end knowledge and ambition to grow personally within the industry as well as to become a cornerstone in the company’s growth and expansion. Minimal commitment period 3 months.

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Applications
  • Experience with marketing via social media platforms and traditional media
  • Experience with WordPress and Mailchimp, specifically knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • Comfort with engaging and communicating to diverse constituencies
  • Familiarity with Arab and/or SWANA languages and cultures is welcome
  • Interests in the arts, music, performance, or education

What will you be doing?

  • Drive attendance to and participation in Qisetna programming
  • Coordinate and implement marketing strategies – Create and schedule monthly email LinkedIn newsletter and e‑blasts – Update website and blog content (WordPress) and analyze usage via Google Analytics
  • Manage Social Media accounts create daily content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and analyze analytics on a regular basis
  • Engage in grassroots promotional work as needed
  • Coordinate media outreach including interviews, information requests, and media attendance
  • Survey and gather feedback and demographics on current and future programs
  • Work with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to organize and record relevant information and produce actionable reports for fundraising and outreach
  • Other duties and responsibilities as necessary in consultation with directors
