Experienced Warehouse Operative
Cheltenham
Busy, well established, family run cable distributor requires full time experienced warehouse operative.
Hours 8.30 am – 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. One hour for lunch.
Duties include:
Picking & packing orders.
Operating counterbalance & narrow aisle forklift trucks. (training will be given if you don\’t have a licence)
Winding cable onto reels to the customers\’ requirements.
Handling both incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Plus, other general warehouse duties.
You must be:
Reliable and trustworthy
Hard working, physically fit, and comfortable with heavy lifting.
Able to work as part of a team
Capable of maintaining attention to detail.
Previous warehouse experience not essential but would be welcome.
Existing forklift licence preferable, but not essential.
Starting salary – £10.42/hr rising to living wage once 3 months probation is successfully completed. Monthly target / accuracy bonus scheme, and opportunity for overtime.
We will also consider part-time applicants.
