The Role

As a Workshop Technician, you will be in a supervisory role within the Workshop, leading the team in the delivery of bespoke work for a multitude of different internal and external stakeholders.

Day-to-day, you will have ownership and control for all health & safety matters within the Workshop, coach, & mentor your local team as well as being the go-to person running the machine shop and its outputs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • The safe operation of the Workshop
  • Support the team with your knowledge/expertise and help grow the team\’s skills through mentoring and practical demonstrations
  • Assisting the appropriate person with the preparation of estimates for work to be conducted
  • Highlight any improvements and investments to Functional Manager that would improve effectiveness and efficiency

  • Demonstrable experience with manual milling, turning and machining
