Join us as a Data & Reporting Lead at our MoD Boscombe or Farnborough site, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.
The Role: As a Data & Reporting Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of contractual reporting, performance insights and management information for a major customer programme.
- Day-to-day, you'll analyse financial and operational data, produce customer-facing reports, develop Power BI dashboards and provide meaningful insights that support both QinetiQ and customer decision making.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders, you'll help ensure contract performance is accurately measured, reported and continuously improved.
- Producing and delivering monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the customer.
- Monitoring KPI and contract performance against agreed obligations.
- Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and management information reporting.
- Analysing financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Supporting quantitative cost and schedule risk assessments.
- Presenting reporting outputs and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Essential experience of the Data & Reporting Lead:
- Experience producing management information, performance reporting or customer-facing reports.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Experience working with stakeholders to communicate complex information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify anomalies, errors and reporting risks.
Essential qualifications for the Data & Reporting Lead:
- Demonstrable professional experience in data analysis, reporting, management information or financial analysis.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.
This role is 37 hours per week based at our Boscombe or Farnborough site with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.
