You'll play a key role in establishing production best practice, implementing improvements and driving efficiency, quality and performance as the team continues to grow and evolve. Optimising value streams and developing efficient manufacturing workflows to improve production performanceDeveloping and implementing manufacturing control plans, production systems and work instructionsSupporting New Product Introduction activities, ensuring a smooth transition from design into productionSpecifying, implementing and maintaining production tooling, equipment and manufacturing infrastructureDriving continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, cost reduction and waste eliminationConducting root cause analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges and improve operational efficiencyEssential experience of the Production Engineer: Proven experience in a Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or similar role within a complex manufacturing environmentExperience developing and optimising manufacturing processes, production workflows and value streamsKnowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience using ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing software solutions to support production operationsStrong problem-solving skills with experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actionsExperience working within ISO9001-controlled environments and monitoring production performance through KPIs and quality metricsEssential qualifications for the Production Engineer: Demonstrable professional experience in a Production Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering environment as an alternative to formal qualificationsRelevant professional certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies would be advantageousWe value difference and we don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
