Join us as a Commercial Portfolio Lead for the Commercial division of QinetiQ at our Farnborough site, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds. The RoleAs a Commercial Portfolio Lead, you will become an integral member of a dynamic Commercial function, providing commercial leadership and oversight in relation to areas of the Maritime & Land Business that transcend the business unitsDay-to-day, you will oversee multi-disciplined Integrated Delivery Teams as required in accordance with the established business strategy and shall design and implement local commercial strategy. This commercial strategy should include reference to people, processes and tools, for each line of business in the portfolio.
Design and implement a commercial engagement strategy for the portfolio which interacts with the portfolio and business strategy (on a 3-5yr planning horizon)You will lead on key / strategic relationships inside and outside the businessAccountable for commercial governance on proposals and contracts which may be non-standard, of medium to high complexityA leader in negotiation strategy and planning, capable of influencing up to executive committee levelEssential experience of the Commercial Portfolio Lead: A minimum of 5 years practical experience in a Commercial management/leadership roleIdeally from the Defence, Aerospace or Marine industriesEssential qualifications for the Commercial Portfolio Lead: Degree educatedWCC Member status or higher ORMCIPS qualifiedWe value difference and we don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
This role is 37 hours per week based at our Farnborough facility with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.
