We are seeking talented scientists, mathematicians, engineers and software developers/coders to join our Mission Solutions teams. If you have experience in any aspect of these, please get in touch.
We currently have openings at our Lincoln, Malvern and Farnborough offices, or embedded with our MOD customers at RAF Coningsby and RAF Marham. Additionally, we have a new exciting opportunity that would involve deployment to Belgium, and that would also attract additional benefits as well as the chance to operate in close partnership with one of our NATO allies. What do our Mission Solutions Scientists, Mathematicians, Engineers and Developers do?
Our Mission Solutions people have a broad understanding of analysis, modelling and simulation concepts and technologies that encompass the entire sensor to effect chain; from the gathering, processing, assimilation and fusion of data, to the exploitation of the resultant information. They also have a good grasp of how a system works and interacts. These tasks may include the design of new mission systems or the enhancement of existing systems, including digital modelling and process development, coding and software development, data fusion, test and evaluation, and operational analysis. This may include knowledge and skills in some of the following areas:
- Model Based Engineering/Model Driven Engineering.
- Development, production, test and evaluation of mission data.
- Software development with core skills in Matlab, Python, and C++ preferred, but knowledge of other programming languages useful.
- Data fusion in an operational context, using machine learning and neural networking techniques.
- Interoperability techniques including the use of tactical datalinks and secure communications.
- Systems Engineering.
- Autonomy and AI in mission-driven applications.
- Development, and test and integration of HMI processes.
- Synthetic environments for assessing performance using data and statistical analysis.
- Development and integration of mission planning systems.
- Practical and theoretical research, considering the use of emerging technologies to provide evidence and ideas for future mission systems.
