The Company

Our teams are a mix of experienced professionals working remotely and onsite, with central offices west of Lincoln and embedded operational specialists with Defence customers.
The Role
Senior SIEM Engineer β Level 4. You will join our innovative team at Inzpire LTD, applying deep SIEM expertise to collaborate with cross-functional teams for fault resolution and to support product design, ensuring high performance, reliability and security. You will work as part of a small multi-skilled engineering team delivering a secure mission critical Communication Information System. You will be based onsite at RAF Leeming Monday to Friday 8-5, with on-call out-of-hours support as part of a rota.
The Person
Essential
- Significant hands-on experience in SIEM engineering, with a focus on large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proven experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk (preferred), LogRhythm, AlienVault or MS System Centre is essential.
- Proven experience with telemetry collection, including Open Telemetry and Telegraf.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. GCFA, GCIH, GNFA, GCFE or similar).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl).
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven track record of troubleshooting complex issues in a timely manner.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to share knowledge and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Due to the nature of elements of the role, the successful applicant must be a UK National and may be required to successfully complete National Security Vetting which may require criminal record, security service and credit reference checks; qualification will also normally require a minimum UK residency of at least 5 years.
