In this role you will partner with site leadership to elevate HSE performance and safety culture at the Fort Halstead site. You will apply expert safety advice to operations, drive compliance with legislation and ISO standards, and lead investigations and continuous improvement. You’ll work across internal and external stakeholders to build capability, reduce risk, and embed Care and Thrive values. Responsibilities
- Provide expert HSE advice to operational teams and leadership
- Lead implementation of HSE legislation, policies, and objectives with stakeholder engagement
- Deliver safety improvements through training, coaching and communication
- Lead and support accident, incident, and occupational health investigations
- Monitor HSE performance via audits, inspections, reporting and ISO compliance
- Embed a positive safety culture and conduct behavioural safety initiatives
Key requirements
- Strong practical expertise in HSE management systems and ISO 45001 implementation
- Experience leading site safety initiatives in complex operational environments
- Hands-on HSE management experience in practitioner or leadership roles
- Skilled in accident/incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing abilities with stakeholder engagement experience
