Join us as a Senior Programme Manager at our Haslar facility, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.The RoleTo lead the delivery of a high value (>15M per annum) COMPLEX Programme involving Maritime consulting and a software portfolio.Day-to-day, you will lead and motivate Project Managers within the programme to ensure they are embedding health and safety and providing safe practices of work. Development and maintenance of positive engagement with programme customers, partners and suppliersOperating in a Safe & Secure mannerEmbedding a culture in line with the QinetiQ valuesDelivery of the Programme outcomes, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales)Ensuring portfolio members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency management requirements; and have appropriate personal objectives recorded in the QinetiQ performance management systemResolving conflicts (including prioritisation calls) within the portfolio and collaborating across QinetiQLeading the embedding of improvement in the QinetiQ project and programme management function, as agreed with IDT Lead and the Performance Excellence teamEssential experience of the Senior Programme Manager: Experience gained, typically rather than necessarily, between 5-8 years of leading a business, projects, programmes, portfolios or P3 function; successful delivery of complex programmesExperience leading programmes to 3 different customersExperience with Maritime Programmes - DesirableDesirable qualifications for the Senior Programme Manager:MSP Practitioner qualification (desirable)Demonstrable capability to International Project Management Association Level AWe value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.This role is 37 hours per week and is based out of our Haslar facility on a hybrid working pattern of 3 days per week on average, onsite.HaslarOur facilities at the Haslar Marine Technology Park are state-of-the-art, including our ocean basin rotating arm, and marine towing tank, offering an unparalleled environment for testing and refining designs.
