In this role you will lead specialist construction and estates projects across the Rosyth site, steering the full project lifecycle from planning to execution. You’ll work within the QinetiQ estate portfolio, balancing maintenance, refurbishment and new build work while managing safety culture and cross-functional delivery. You will collaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure projects meet time, budget and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on PM role at a defence-focused organisation with a clear impact on site resilience and capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Organise the project, team, and delivery
- Embed health and safety culture within the team
- Develop junior project management competence
- Define project aims, priorities, and scope
- Define and manage budget and cost reporting
- Manage project documentation (bids, proposals, third-party docs)
Key requirements
- Planning Application and GPDO process knowledge
- Knowledge of Building Regulations and Building Control
- Knowledge of the RIBA process
- Knowledge of JSP standards
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations; experience as client or similar on construction projects
- Experience with NEC contracts
