Role Purpose

The HR Process Co‑ordinator delivers and coordinates complex HR administrative services across the employee lifecycle, reward, benefits and organisation development administration, and cyclical people processes. The role ensures operational excellence, compliance and continuous improvement in employee experience, system workflows and service metrics.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver high‑quality HR operational services across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Maintain workflows in Success Factors and support Workday configuration and reporting.
  • Collaborate with People Partners, Reward, Organisation Development, IT, Payroll and Recruitment to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in process, system and experience and support implementation of enhanced service models.
  • Ensure governance audit obligations are fulfilled through effective admin and control.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex, ambiguous or high‑risk service queries.
  • Produce HR dashboards and reporting packs; deliver cyclical performance, reward and attrition data.
  • Support onboarding, training and capability development of colleagues through coaching and best practice sharing.

Key Capabilities / Knowledge

  • Core QinetiQ competency framework (Business, Personal, Leadership).
  • Technical capability in Success Factors (basic configuration and reporting).
  • Ability to coordinate and deliver across multiple service lines simultaneously.
  • Professional credibility in engaging with senior stakeholders and SMEs.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multi‑task.
  • Ability to work under time constraints and tight deadlines.
  • Decision‑making based on own knowledge and experience.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in HR operations or employee services, ideally in a shared service or COE‑linked environment.
  • Familiarity with Success Factors workflows and reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of the full employee lifecycle and cyclical HR processes.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration or CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience preferred).
  • Ability to manage high volumes with strong attention to detail and judgement.

  • Pensions administration.
  • Annual cycle coordination and support (Performance Management, pay review, bonus).
  • Interview scheduling and recruitment pack generation.
  • Contract generation and offer management.
  • Reference request fulfilment.
  • Employee lifecycle changes (e.g., manager, hours, location, title).
  • Off‑boarding (resignations, leaver communications, exit survey triggering).
