The Role
You will be responsible for several Complex / Strategic Projects and tasked with ensuring our commitments to our internal and external stakeholders are met. Our projects have a diverse and complex stakeholder community, both internal and external to the company. Day-to-day, you'll be working with the UK MOD with Test & Evaluation and Training capabilities in the UK. QinetiQ undertakes specification, design, procurement, development, integration and acceptance of the Test & Evaluation and Training Systems across the Maritime, Land, and Air domains.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of assigned projects to time, cost, quality and customer satisfaction
- Pro-active Stakeholder management and relationship building
- Support the IDT with Follow-On Sales to support QinetiQ growth ambitions
- Open, accurate and timely project reporting, both to internal management and external customers
- Delivery of the project outputs, to agreed baseline (customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales)
Essential experience of the Project Manager:
- 2-5 years of experience within a Project Management environment
- Ideally from a heavy regulated industry background such as Defence or Aerospace
Essential qualifications for the Project Manager:
- APM PMQ, Prince2

This role is 37 hours per week based at either Fort Halstead or Shoeburyness with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.
Please note that all applicants for this role must be eligible for SC clearance, as a minimum.
