Senior Programme Manager for the Integrated Delivery Team at QinetiQ, responsible for delivering the programme vision, objectives and benefits across the Bristol or Boscombe Down sites.
Location and Working Hours
This role is 37 hours per week based at either the Bristol or Boscombe Down facilities with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for overall programme performance throughout the lifecycle, including baseline management and delivering within budget ensuring appropriate governance and assurance.
- Integrated planning – shaping and structuring the programme to accomplish the vision by ensuring related projects are equipped with the appropriate project management plans.
- Budget and cost control – working closely with the Portfolio Office to ensure programme controls are in place.
- Stakeholder engagement – fostering a collaborative approach, engaging, influencing and collaborating with all stakeholders (Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain and Portfolio Office).
- Lead and motivate Project Managers, embedding health and safety, ensuring teams collaborate effectively and work towards the same goal to deliver outputs and outcomes on time, within scope and budget.
Essential Experience
- Typically 10+ years of experience working in a project environment and leading programmes.
- Extensive experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and SAP.
Essential Qualifications
- APM PMQ, ChPP, PMI PgMP, or AIPM CPPD qualified.
Required Clearance
All applicants for this role must be eligible for SC clearance, as a minimum.
