The Role

As a Deputy Commercial Manager, you’ll provide commercial support to a diverse portfolio of projects across multi‑disciplined Integrated and Delivery Teams in accordance with the established Business and Commercial strategy. Day‑to‑day you will contribute to our Business Winning strategy, including all aspects of legal (T's and C's), pricing, Intellectual Property and negotiation, and support effective and efficient contractual management of contracts within the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Work as an individual Commercial contributor across a broad Business Portfolio or as part of an Integrated Capture / Delivery Team
  • Provide commercial support covering customer bidding and contracting, risk management, change control, contract and document drafting, and dispute resolution
  • Apply commercial acumen to tenders and a variety of contracts ranging from standard to typically non‑standard, of medium to higher complexity, or support senior commercial staff on major projects or campaigns
  • Manage your own project portfolio

Essential Experience

  • Demonstrate general commercial acumen on tenders and variety of contracts ranging from standard to typically non‑standard, of medium to higher complexity, or supporting senior commercial staff on major projects or new business campaigns
  • Have demonstrable experience in a similar commercial role
  • Have good experience influencing pricing strategy (pay, performance and incentivisation)

Essential Qualifications

  • Hold a university degree in a relevant field or have comparable work experience in a relevant role
  • Be accredited to IACCM (WCC) member status or higher, or qualified MCIPS
