The Role

As a Principal Network Tech Lead you will provide technical leadership in the area of IT and networking in order to meet business objective and deliver growth.

Day-to-day, you will lead project teams to deliver complex solutions using best practice forging strong collaborative working relationships and solutions.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leading project teams to deliver complex solutions using best practices with the ability to forge strong collaborative working relationships developing great solutions
  • Providing technical leadership for programme, project and bidding activities
  • Supporting the development of network and IT staff in there technical disciplines and supporting resourcing decisions
  • The responsibility of developing design certifications, technical delivery plans, high level documentation, design documentation and testing schedules
  • Providing technical assurance by leading the development of the appropriate technical standards that comply with statutory, regulatory, company and project specific processes

Essential Experience Of The Principal Network Tech Lead

  • Proven experience working on a range of different projects
  • The ability to engage and motivate teams to contribute towards success and growth whilst being a respected leader
  • Being a respected expert with experience of IT, networking and cloud computing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders and customers
  • The ability to be innovate and contribute with creative ideas performing complex technical assignments

Essential Qualifications For The Principal Network Tech Lead

This role is 37 hours per week based at Malvern with hybrid working patterns available.

The Malvern facility is noted for its work in electronic warfare, surveillance and complex system integration, contributing significantly to the UK’s defence capabilities. Developing technologies for military and civilian applications, including sensors, communications and cyber security.
