The Role
As a Receptionist, you will play a key role in creating a professional and welcoming environment, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and colleagues on site. Day-to-day, you’ll provide front-of-house reception support, manage visitor access and bookings, and help ensure site processes are followed in line with security, health and safety requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a professional reception service to internal and external customers
- Managing visitor bookings and site access in line with security and HSE procedures
- Supporting administration tasks including visitor reporting and trend analysis
- Maintaining up-to-date site and security information
- Supporting site emergency response processes and communications
- Identifying and supporting continuous improvement opportunities
Essential experience of the Receptionist:
- Previous experience in a reception or customer service role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- High attention to detail
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn
Essential qualifications for the Receptionist:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
This role is 37 hours per week based at our Malvern site. Set working times are Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm.
Malvern The Malvern facility is noted for its work in electronic warfare, surveillance and complex system integration, contributing significantly to the UK’s defence capabilities. Developing technologies for military and civilian applications, including sensors, communications and cyber security.
