The Role: As a Risk & Resilience Manager, you support senior managers to practically deliver risk registers and business continuity plans, ensuring high quality support is provided to operational areas. Day-to-day, you’ll support the businesses and functions in delivering an end-to-end risk management process, delivering tools and facilitating the production of risk registers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the management of risk at all levels in the organisation, embedding a strong risk culture and competence at all levels.
- Work with the Head of Risk and Resilience to deliver suitable training on risk and business continuity across the Group.
- Facilitate the production of resilience frameworks, working across businesses and functions to deliver an integrated and understood approach.
- Enable business continuity planning across the Group, to ensure incident response is clear, managed and reported effectively.
Essential experience of the Risk & Resilience Manager:
- Good leadership skills, with a proven track record of engaging and influencing across a broad set of stakeholders to deliver focussed outcomes.
- A positive and encouraging attitude to challenges, enabling the motivation of others to achieve goals.
- Excellent interpersonal communication in both verbal and written forms, at all levels from operational staff up to and including board level.
Essential qualifications for the Risk & Resilience Manager:
- Degree Educated.
- MIRM background is desirable.
This role is 37 hours per week based at either Malvern, Farnborough or Boscombe Down. Hybrid working patterns are available with a minimum average site attendance of 3 days per week.
