The Role: As a Deputy Commercial Manager, you’ll provide commercial support to a varied portfolio of projects, across multi-disciplined Integrated and Delivery Teams and contribute to our business winning strategy. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of commercial support including customer bidding and contracting, risk management, change control, contract and document drafting, and dispute resolution.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working as an individual Commercial contributor across and in support of a broad Business Portfolio or as part of an Integrated Capture / Delivery Team
  • Responsible for all aspects of legal, pricing, Intellectual Property and negotiation, in addition to contributing to effective and efficient contractual management of contracts within the portfolio
  • Use commercial acumen on tenders and a variety of contracts which range from standard to typically non-standard, of medium to higher complexity, or supporting senior commercial staff on major projects or campaigns
  • Manage your own project portfolio

Essential experience of the Deputy Commercial Manager:

  • Demonstrates a general commercial acumen on tenders and variety of contracts which range from standard to typically non-standard, of medium to higher complexity, or supporting senior commercial staff on major projects or new business campaigns
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar commercial role
  • Good experience influencing pricing strategy (pay, performance and incentivisation)

Essential qualifications for the Deputy Commercial Manager:

  • Holds university degree in relevant field or comparable work experience in a relevant role
  • Accredited to IACCM (WCC) member status or higher, or MCIPS qualified

This role is 37 hours per week based at any of our main UK locations.
