Role Purpose: To support the current and future Additive/Advanced Manufacture programmes delivering direct to customer projects.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Undertaking mechanical design work to support our reverse engineering processes
  • Work with the team to help draft elements of reports and QinetiQ Design Certificates
  • Support the team with production calls with internal and external stakeholders
  • To contribute to safe and efficient management of our workshop and AdM facilities.
  • To develop own understanding and skills in field of materials, mechanical design, engineering governance and additive manufacturing.

Key Capabilities/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering with particular interest (i.e. degree module or final year project or actual work experience) in fields of Materials or Additive Manufacturing
  • Capable of expanding knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and Additive Manufacturing at pace under mentorship of subject matter experts.

Experience & Qualifications: Degree (BSc or BEng Hons. minimum) in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
