The Role:
As a Service Transition Manager you will be working in an internal and customer facing role which is responsible for managing the transition of new and changing services and their support for complex programmes and projects.
Day-to-day, you willbe working closely with the Head of Tech & Service Operations to ensure that service management and operational requirements are met during project delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working as a Subject Matter Expert providing Service Design and transition
- Leading on the transition of services and solution into Live Service, as required ensuring service operations is ready to support the service
- Working with Service Design and Transition colleagues, the service desk and technical operations team to ensure service design artefacts are included within the backlog
- Ensuring all aspects of service readiness are completed prior to go live
- Coordinating with project managers, service owners, development and operational teams
- Defining and managing the early life support and the transition plan to BAU ownership
Essential experience of the Service Transition Manager:
- Significant experience in a Service Transition role within a large complex organisation
- Previous experience driving customer excellence across a complex service portfolio
- The ability to deliver within an AGILE framework with a strong operational understanding of service concepts and techniques
- Previous experience of working across diverse services, products and business
- The ability to analyse data and solve complex problems to ensure risks are minimised and the continuation of the services delivered
Essential qualifications for the Service Delivery Lead:

This role is 37 hours per week based at Malvern and is fully on-site.
