The Role As a Project Manager, you will be working within a team to lead the delivery of both standard and complex projects within an exciting, fast-paced environment. You will be working within our Defence Digital Business Stream and will have the opportunity to lead the delivery of highly classified projects, making a tangible difference to national security. Day-to-day, you’ll be influencing and aligning others towards the vision of projects whilst empowering and inspiring them to achieve success. Your responsibilities will include: Identifying, planning, and implementing actions to positively engage parties, driving interest and influence towards project outputs Developing and maintaining positive engagement with project customers, partners, suppliers, and stakeholders Delivering project outputs to an agreed baseline such as customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash, and sales Applying governance requirements for the foundation of sales and delivery work, including lifecycle, project, and independent reviews Business development and the ability to identify, qualify, develop, and deliver solutions to customers, articulating the benefits of QinetiQ solutions Negotiation, conflict management, and human resource management Essential experience of the Project Manager: The ability to identify, qualify, develop, and deliver solutions in support of business development Previous experience managing complex projects Essential qualifications for the Project Manager: APM qualified or another comparable PM qualification This role is 37 hours per week based at PTP, Portsmouth. Hybrid working patterns are available. Portsmouth Technology Park (PTP) is one of QinetiQ’s key facilities, focusing on advanced technology development and engineering services.
