Role Purpose
Build the skillset and succession plan for the Malvern Workshop, which supports R&D across multiple projects. The apprentice will develop a range of machining, assembly and hand‑tool skills while solving hands‑on problems.
Key Accountabilities
- Take on new skills
- Listen to senior craftspeople
- Learn machining and assembly skills
- Learn hand‑tool skills
- Read technical drawings
- Understand design concepts and processes
- Learn about configuration control and quality management systems
- Apply geometric tolerancing and inspection methods
