Role Type: Permanent – Full Time
Inzpire is looking for pilots to become MQ‑9B (UK Protector RG1) Instructor Pilots at RAF Waddington, Lincolnshire. The contract is expected to start mid‑to‑late 2026 (subject to change) and will involve delivering instruction to crews on operating the MQ‑9B.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction on the MQ‑9B to operational crews.
- Work a core Monday to Friday schedule (40 hours per week) with possible shift work to maintain operational effectiveness.
- Potential deployment overseas to support NATO alliance partners' MQ‑9B training initiatives.
Qualifications
- 500+ hours military flying as a pilot (uncrewed & crewed).
- Previously held instrument rating.
- Experience in Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) RPAS operations: MQ‑1, MQ‑9A, MQ‑9B or similar.
- Pass a CAA/FAA Class 1 Medical or equivalent EASA medical.
- Relocation package available for non‑UK individuals.
- Preferred: NATO security clearance.

Expressions of Interest should include total flying hours (crewed & uncrewed), MALE RPAS flying hours, date of last recorded flight and instrument rating, and full details of instructional qualifications and teaching experience.
